RN Licensure: Online RN to BSN degrees are classified as “post-licensure” programs. Nebraska universities will expect you to have—or be in the process of earning—an RN license. If you’re still waiting to sit the NCLEX exam, talk to the RN to BSN program coordinator. You may be able to apply for conditional acceptance.
- The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has info on Nurse Licensing, including rules regarding state RN licensure.

Can I Choose a “No Clinicals” Online RN to BSN Program in Nebraska?
CCNE- and ACEN-accredited RN to BSN programs are designed to have a clinical component. However, BSN-level practicums won’t be like clinicals in your associate degree or diploma. They’ll be much more focused on training in community/population health and leadership & management. In 100% Online RN to BSN programs, you’ll also be allowed to tackle clinicals in your local community and/or place of employment.
Do I Need Statistics to Apply for Nebraska Online RN to BSN Programs?
