What the Site Offers
Our goal when creating RNtoMSN.org was to provide a comprehensive, easy-to-use website for registered nurses researching academic degree programs. While we began by focusing on RN to MSN programs, we quickly expanded our focus to RN to BSN programs as well. Regardless of which option you choose, the website lets you effortlessly browse opportunities by location, academic specialty, and quality (i.e. rankings).
See for yourself by browsing the website, and let us know if there’s anything you think we should add!
Where Do You Get Your Information?
Everything you see on the website was compiled by hand by our team of dedicated researchers and writers. For example, we manually review every school offering RN to BSN and RN to MSN programs, compiling data on program options, costs, length, and more along the way. It’s a long process, but we’re confident that it allows us to provide the most accurate information possible.
Some elements of the website, such as our program rankings, use outside data. In these situations, we limit sources to the most trusted agencies and organizations in the field. This includes accreditation groups like the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), as well as government resources including the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System and the U.S. Department of Education’s College Scorecard.
How Often Do You Update Your Information?
Many aspects of the website are updated weekly, such as reviewing and fixing outdated links to degree programs. Our in-depth rankings and guides require additional research, so they’re published at various times throughout the year. You can trust that we’re doing everything in our power to keep our content fresh, but drop us a line if you notice anything we should update.
